OUR APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME
We offer a wide range of apprenticeships from levels 2 to 6 based at locations across the UK. Vacancies will open in early February with roles starting in September.
Engineering apprenticeships
Launch your engineering career, gain a variety of skills and gain experience across our range of products. Our level 3 and 4 apprenticeships include roles in powered access, lifting equipment and temperature control through to mechatronics, where you’ll gain the skills to maintain and repair our cutting-edge equipment.
Duration: 2 - 4 years
Skilled trade apprenticeships
Our level 2 and 3 skilled trade apprenticeships train you for roles including electrician, welder and property maintenance operatives.
Duration: 2 – 4 years
Professional skills apprenticeships
These apprenticeships cover a diverse range of careers, including Finance & Accounting, IT, Data, Sales, Procurement, Facilities Management, Customer Service, Marketing, HR and even Chartered Surveying. These opportunities include pathways at level 2 through to level 6.
Duration: 18 months - 6 years

Find out moreAPPLYING FOR AN APPRENTICESHIP
Applying for a Sunbelt Rentals apprenticeship is a straight forward process and we’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
Applications will involve some or all of the following steps:
Online application – your chance to tell us a little bit about yourself and your aspirations. You’ll be asked to complete an application form and can add in a CV to support your application if you have one. You may also be asked to complete a few short video questions. Once submitted, we’ll screen your application to ensure you meet the minimum entry requirements.
Online assessment centre or video interview – for those selected for the second stage you’ll be invited to join an online assessment centre or video interview where you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you have.
Assessment Centre / Interview – the final screening stage is a face-to-face interview which may include an assessment task and a competency-based interview. If you reach this stage, you’ll receive plenty of notice and be provided with all the information you’ll need to prepare. If you need any additional support, just let us know.
Offer – If your application is successful, we’ll make a formal offer for you to join our apprenticeship programme. The offer will be dependent on proof that you have the necessary qualifications to meet the entrance criteria.
