Logistics Scheduler

We’re looking for a Logistics Scheduler with great customer service skills who thrive in a busy environment to join our team and help us to deliver our customer promise - to delight every customer, every time.

In this role as a Logistics Scheduler you’ll be joining our Accommodation specialist team. Who specialise in the rental of temporary building systems to suit diverse requirements – including anti-vandal ‘green specification’ accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers and everything else our customers need for construction sites and events

You'll be responsible for the day to day coordinator of the logistics within the service centre, ensuring all contracts are properly serviced with the correct stock, vehicles and labour, administering of department paperwork and data relating to procurement and stock control.

• Prior experience in a customer service or logistics scheduler role
• Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
• Flexible and self-motivated, you’ll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities
• Great communication skills – both verbal and written
• Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry
• Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential
• Ability to drive continual improvement
• Fully competent in the management of safety
• Maintains a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
• Ability to logistically coordinate manpower, stock and vehicles on a high number of projects and initiatives, efficiently and simultaneously
• Up to date and knowledgeable of all VOSA road transport regulations (desirable)
