We have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and fast-paced Marketing and Communications team in this new role as a Social Media and PR executive to help support the development and delivery of our marketing campaigns.
Working in the Digital Marketing Team, you will support the development, delivery and management of the external communications channels, programmes and campaigns in line with business priorities.
As Social Media and PR Executive, you will be required to:
Social Media:
- Support the senior team in rolling out the social media strategy aligned to the business growth.
- Work with stakeholders from across the business and multiple sectors to create high-quality content tailed to each social media channel.
- Manage the social media schedule ensuring timely and relevant posts that resonate with target audiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging content themes to ensure the brand remains relevant.
- Collaborate cross-departments to share insights and information for content that promotes Sunbelt 4.0 including our products, solutions and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions across all social media channels.
- Engage with followers, influencers and key customers to enhance brand visibility and community engagement on social media.
- Undertake regular analysis of social media metrics and identify areas for improvement and opportunity. Prepare regular reports on social media performance and recommendations for the marketing team.
- Implement and optimise social media strategies including running paid social media campaigns to drive acquisition and build brand awareness.
- Lead the employee advocacy programme to increase employee usage of social media with a focus on LinkedIn.
- Provide regular training to teammates on social media best practices and building personal brand online.
Public Relations:
- Contribute to the schedule of communications activity to promote the company externally.
- Assist in the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns by working over a broad range of sectors to build relationships with key publications.
- Create draft press releases and promotional materials.
- Support with the planning and coordination of media events.
- Conduct competitor research on industry and sector trends.
This role offers hybrid working arrangements - with a mix of remote and office 2/3 days (Birchwood Park, Warrington).
