About The Role

Are you the type of person who enjoys regularly interacting with customers, offering support with enquires and seamlessly converting them in to sales? If so this could be the role for you. We’re looking for candidates with great customer service skills who thrive in a busy operational environment to join our team and help us to deliver our customer promise - to delight every customer, every time. 

We are currently in the process of developing our product sales function to support the wider business in growing this existing revenue stream. This involves creating a national product sales and distribution hub which will include warehousing, dedicated internal sales support and a business development team. 

We now have a number of fantastic opportunities for Sales Coordinators to join the team to quote and transact product sales enquiries generated by the depot network, external sales teams and hubs along with any direct customer enquiries with the overall aim of increasing the number of successful product sales orders. In this busy role as a Sales Coordinator your duties will include: 

  • Sales enquiry quotation Quotation management and conversion
  • Sales order processing Supplier PO placement
  • Customer invoice management
  • Customer relationship management.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for individuals from a customer service environment, ideally with industry experience, who would like to see and feel the impact of their work in a hands-on, highly operational, service-focused business.

To succeed as a Sales Coordinator you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
  • Demonstrable administrative and customer service skills 
  • Previous product sales experience and product sales knowledge (Desirable)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills - including negotiating and influencing. You’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team - you'll be an effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach
  • Results driven approach
  • Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative to make decisions in line with our company policies and pricing structures
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, you’ll enjoy a varied work day in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, puts forward and acts on suggestions to improve processes and service levels
  • A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages and ideally in Sales Operating systems. You’ll embrace learning new IT systems and enjoy making the most of technology in your job role.
