About The Role

You’ll be an ambassador for our “Customer First” culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping your customers informed, so that they feel truly valued. You will act as the first point of contact, providing information on the Sunbelt Rentals network of Service Centres and responding to any related queries. Therefore a “can do” attitude is a must to ensure that the customer’s requirements are addressed.

The role is both busy and varied and you will act as a point of contact for all Sunbelt Rentals network of Services Centres on all Customer Experience related queries. You main duties will include handling the main general enquiry phone line for the business, ensuring our customers are served by the appropriate Department. You will assist the Customer Experience team to drive service delivery standards within our Service Centre network, by evaluating pre-recorded calls, against pre-defined evaluation criteria. You will also produce, collate, and issue reports to support the business and the Customer Experience team.

The Customer Experience Team also ensure all complaints are handled effectively and fairly, in line with company policy. As part of the team you will be taking information relating to customer complaints that will need to be treated with respect, confidentiality and accuracy.
 

About You

What you will need to bring to the role from day one:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a call centre environment
  • Good working knowledge of the construction and/or plant hire industry would be an advantage
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
  • Flexible and self-motivated, you’ll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities
  • Great communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry
