Learning and Development Trainer

In the role as a learning and Development Training you’ll deliver a range of training activities aimed at developing both new and existing employees. You will be experienced in delivering Induction, Customer Service and Management training activities face-2-face and remotely.  

• Deliver Corporate Induction sessions to those starting with the business
• Deliver the Customer Service Development programme to our Customer Service teams
• Deliver Management training activities designed to upskill new and existing Managers
• Deliver other training activities designed to develop the workforce

To be a successful Learning & Development Trainer you will be experienced in a similar role working for a large multi-site business.

You will be flexible and prepared to travel with regular overnight stays. You will effectively represent the business to colleagues in all situations and comfortably work as part of a wider team.

The Ideal candidate will have the following;

Required

• A track record in preparing and delivering training across a diverse organisation
• Excellent time management and first class communication skills
• To be passionate about training and developing people
• To be a creative individual with an innovative approach to delivering training
• Up to date knowledge of Microsoft office including PowerPoint
• Excellent presentation, communication and motivational skills
• Full driving licence required

Desirable

• Experience of working for a Plant Hire industry in a training role
• Training qualification (EAT 3 Certificate or equivalent)
• Assessor Qualification
• Formal qualification in Customer Service and or Management

This is a regional role across a wide geographical area. Flexibility and a willingness to travel extensively including overnight stays is therefore essential.
