About The Role

Are you an experienced Forklift Truck Driver looking for something different  - where no two days are the same, in this role you’ll be joining our Accommodation specialist team. Who specialise in the rental of temporary building systems to suit diverse requirements – including anti-vandal ‘green specification’ accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers and everything else our customers need for construction sites and events

As Forklift Truck Driver you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to move the equipment safely to ensure that it is stored correctly and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

  • Safely driving a 12 tonne forklift truck and moving a variety of equipment
  • Organising and preparing equipment for hire
  • Checking and storing off-hired equipment
  • Helping to maintain a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
  • Liaise with customers as necessary when loading and unloading a job

To succeed as a Forklift Truck Driver you will bring the following skill-set and behaviour:

  •  An up to date FLT licence
  • The physical fitness required to undertake your daily tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to complete job duties on time
  • Good level of Customer Service
  • Willing to undertake relevant training and development
  • Commitment to health and safety - Knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage
