We have an exciting new role for a Business Development Manager, working within a region, with the primary aim of winning and developing Accommodation and Welfare revenue streams from National Accounts, Specific End Markets, Large Regional Customers and Mega Projects.
This will be done by optimizing revenue incomes through multiple sales channels, identifying and marketing differentiated value propositions through alternative markets and growth sectors and instigating a training and development program to improve the order capture conversion rate and overall customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a pipeline of accounts and/or projects in conjunction with the primary account holders within National accounts & End Markets teams to engage and align the Sunbelt Rentals Accommodation & Welfare Strategy to drive profitable growth & improve business ROI nationally.
- Work closely with relevant SBR business units to develop routes to market and increase customer engagement.
- Present coherent and compelling propositions to senior stakeholders (internal & external) based around product & service offerings, innovation and sustainability.
- Positively and professionally represent Sunbelt Rentals and develop strong and successful relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the experience and ability to lead on tender bids ensuring profitability and fully maximised ROI. Collaborate with Tenders and Bids teams, Marketing teams and all Sales colleagues across the business.
- Create and maintain strict sales pipeline management using CRM to be updated in line with business unit KPIs
- To be regarded as the ‘trusted advisor’ for Accommodation in your region to ensure a collaborative approach to the sales process, with regards to any specific sector requirements.
- Keeping up to date with products and competitor’s activity and general market conditions.
- Creating new strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
- Compile and deliver reports in and around your business area. These are expected to be comprehensive and delivered in a timely fashion.
- Create Customer Development plans (National, Regional & Sector based) that will focus on maximising all revenues and expanding Sunbelt Rentals’ multi-brand offering.
- Maintain a good understanding of hire contracts and terms
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are maintained at all times.
