About The Role

In the role of Sustainable Applications Manager, you will support the Power team with both the tactical and strategic development of our plans to offer all stakeholders power solutions that are aligned with our corporate strategy.

You will support and advise National Accounts team on the most suitable & sustainable low carbon solutions for their client’s application. This could and most likely will include field studies, feasibility studies and pilot trials. All application development project must That have total alignment with our corporate goals, which are reduction in emissions increasing ROI, and constantly improving our customer experience.
 
Key Deliverables
 
• To support research, validate and then develop a low carbon ‘solutions portfolio’ and subsequent project pipeline that is aligned with local and national growth strategies.
• To collaborate and support National Account team colleagues to ensure that low carbon solutions, technology and subsequent rental solutions are cost effective and have the requisite ROI profile.
• Develop strong and creative relationships with National Account team and their customers ensuring that SBR are at the leading edge of deploying low carbon solutions.
• Offer specialist technical support to sales and operational leaders across the SBR business units.
• Identify and create opportunities to differentiate our services and offer value-added solutions and/or opportunities to develop new markets.
• Protect the commercial, reputational, and legal interests of Sunbelt Rentals in matters such as conformity and intellectual property, seeking expert advice where appropriate

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels from the workshop to the Senior Management.
  • To have a passion for low carbon solutions and technologies.
  • To have a structured and organised approach to planning and organisation.
  • Experience in customer facing environments and able to demonstrate a good level of customer service experience.
  • Demonstrable success in being able to work to deadlines and deliver results on a regular basis.
  •  Confident in the use of IT as a key business tool.
  • Able to prioritise effectively to ensure you meet your agreed personal objectives.
  • Results driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel.
