About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals. 

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will primarily focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with future expansion into other Salesforce products and third-party integrations. This role is responsible for managing the technical architecture, development lifecycle, and deployment processes, while partnering with cross-functional teams to design and deliver secure, scalable solutions.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Develop and customise Salesforce applications using Salesforce configuration
  • Manage and maintain third-party managed packages and ensure seamless integration with core Salesforce functionality.
  • Oversee data migration and integration efforts using Salesforce APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Build Salesforce standard reports and dashboards and also CRM Analytics visuals.
  • Conduct and lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.
  • Own the development and deployment lifecycle, including configuration and code changes across multiple environments (e.g., sandboxes, scratch orgs), using Git-based version control and CI/CD tools.
  • Evaluate and implement new Salesforce release features, enhancements, and critical bug fixes.
  • Manage platform security, including permission sets, profiles, validation rules, and sharing rules, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior administrators.
  • Collaborate closely with the Salesforce team, Development, Integrations, and Data teams to deliver cohesive solutions across the organisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Salesforce applications, integrations, and performance.
  • Support end-users by resolving advanced issues such as flow errors, record access problems, and system behaviour anomalies.
  • Participate in Agile sprint cycles, planning sessions, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.
The role is hybrid working, primary location being Warrington Support office, with travel to other locations

About You

 
To be successful in this role you will likely be in a similar position or have relevant transferable experience. 

You will be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining a professional and approachable manner. You will enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
  • Proven expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Flow best practice including the latest features and road maps
  • Proficiency in data query, manipulation and load including using SOQL.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems for managing Salesforce metadata.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, DevOps) for Salesforce deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture and data access controls.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its components (with the expectation to build on this foundation in a senior capacity).
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud Consultant certifications
