As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll join our Design & Build team—the projects arm of IT Infrastructure at Sunbelt Rentals. You’ll work on a wide range of infrastructure projects, from discovery through to delivery, and provide technical expertise across the business.

This role has a strong focus on Identity, Access and Microsoft Entra services, but remains a generalist infrastructure role. You’ll contribute across both cloud and on-premises environments and work closely with Infrastructure, Security, End User Computing and Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and support infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead technical delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with IT strategy, business objectives and best practices.
• Deliver and support identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra and associated technologies.
• Support application onboarding and access integration activities, including authentication and provisioning.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact within your area of strength, providing guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
• Help define and improve standards, processes and governance across the infrastructure estate.
• Work with Security, End User Computing and Development teams to deliver secure, supportable solutions, taking ownership of design and implementation within your area while collaborating with other teams on theirs.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement across the infrastructure estate.
