About The Role

This role will be responsible for delivering best practice and company defined electrical and electronic engineering standards.

As a member of the Maintenance team, you will ensure safety and compliance in carrying out repairs to electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications and to current regulations.

You will primarily be repairing high frequency, high power, electronic ballasts and electronic lighting luminaires but you will also carry out maintenance on any other equipment deemed within your capability.

Occasionally, there may be a requirement for you to visit a site or attend a training course by yourself or with a colleague and this may require staying away from home overnight or for the duration of the course.

About You

Essential qualifications and experience are:

  • BTEC Diploma / Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or

  • Experience in electronic fault-finding to component level.
  • Experience using test equipment.

It should be emphasised that this role would not be suitable for people without experience in electronic fault-finding to component level or testing exposed live equipment.

All people shortlisted for interview will be asked to undertake practical and theory assessments on the day.

What can we offer you in return? We provide an Industry leading flexible rewards package including generous holiday allowance (with the opportunity to buy and sell annual leave), life assurance, retail discount scheme, employee recognition awards and a great Company pension scheme.

If you join the team we’ll provide you with everything you need and ensure you are equipped for success. We’ll talk to you about your training and personal development needs and what you’d like to do to further your career and support your future aspirations.
