We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Concert Touring Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of concert tours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful tours, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the demands of live events.

Job Role:

  • Tour Planning & Logistics
    • Collaborate with artists, management, and booking agents to develop comprehensive touring schedules.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and ground transportation for the tour team.
    • Oversee venue bookings and ensure all logistical needs are met.
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage tour budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely payments to vendors, crew, and venues.
  • Team Coordination
    • Recruit, hire, and manage tour staff, including production crew, technicians, and support personnel.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the artist, tour personnel, and external stakeholders.
    • Foster a positive and professional working environment on tour.
  • On-Tour Execution
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tour, ensuring schedules and commitments are met.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the tour, from logistical challenges to personnel conflicts.
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and health and safety requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records, including contracts, itineraries, and financial reports.
  • Post-Tour Wrap-Up
  • Conduct post-tour evaluations to assess successes and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing the financial and operational aspects of the tour.

To succeed as a Concert Touring Manager you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • Minimum of 5 years in concert or tour management, or a related role in the entertainment industry. 
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Strong negotiation and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with production equipment, stage setup, and technical riders.
  • Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

Preferred Qualification 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management, Business, or a related field. 
  •  Established relationships with booking agents, venues, and vendors. 
  •  Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in live entertainment.
